Summer 2021 + Core Neutrals Color Palettes!

It's officially summer here! I worked SO hard to create a palette that balanced both my love of dusty colors with brighter, more optimistic pops of color you've been asking for and I cannot wait to share it with you!

I do want to just take a moment to acknowledge though, that despite my best efforts, we all see color differently! Even if we were together in a room looking at the same thing, we may pick up different variations of a color. I also want to note that because each of our mobile devices or desktops are calibrated differently, what you see does have the possibility of varying slightly in person.

On to the fun part! I've uploaded a video for you below where I showcase each color within my Summer 2021 Palette and my brand new Core Color Palette that won't change. Below the video, I've included those same descriptors in writing in case that is helpful for you.

As always though, if you ever have any additional questions, you can reach out to me at pickingposiesdesign@gmail.com

Picking Posies Design Core Neutral Palette:

Linen: This color is an off white/cream color. It is not white! I've heard that some are surprised it looks darker in person. It's a mix of brown + white combined. It truly is a cream/oatmeal color.

Light Taupe: This color is a beautiful warm gray/brown. It's a lot lighter than my previous taupe and slightly warmer in color.

Blush: This color is a true blush color! It's lighter and more pink than my Dusty Pink.

Light Gray: I am so excited to offer a gray for the first time! This color is a beautiful concrete, light gray color.

Ebony: This one speaks for itself! It truly is jet black -- nothing is added to this color!

Picking Posies Design Summer 2021 Palette:

Brick: This color is a pink/red color perfect for summer! It's more pink and brighter than my previous Terracotta but more red and brighter than my Dusty Pink.

Salmon: This color is similar to a summer sorbet! It's lighter than my previous color peach.

Dandelion: I worked SO hard to nail down this perfect level of yellow! It's a warmer, redder yellow similar to a light yellow, lemon bar!

Pistachio: This color is a light level of green! It's brighter and lighter with more green to it than my previous color Light Moss.

Lemon Leaf: I love this color for summer! It's a beautiful level of green with a subtle blue undertone. It's brighter and more green than my previous color Eucalyptus.

Deep Teal: The darkest color of the palette, this color is perfect for ANY time of the year! It's a beautiful level of green/blue that's lighter and more saturated than my previous color Emerald.

Dusty Mauve: This is the lightest of the purples in my palette. It also is more of a dusty colorway, but with so much white added to it, it's a very light, pastel color.

Lavender: This is the same color as Fog, but with added white to it! It's much brighter and lighter than Fog giving it more of a true lavender color perfect for the warmer months!

I hope you find this helpful and I can't wait to see what colors you choose!

Xoxo,

Carissa
